Job Description
Develop software utilizing the following technologies: Java, Oracle, Web (HTML, CSS, Javascript), Microsoft Windows, UnixWork with systems administrators to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production issues.
Extensive communication to all levels of the organization regarding project development status, issues and production problems.
Partner with QA and subject matter experts to insure that testing is complete and that ongoing testing is addressed through various levels of automated testing.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
Ability to work in Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
2-3 years of work experience in software development both client-side (HTML, JavaScripts) and server-side (J2EE) and Object Oriented Design and Development.
Ability to work with the team to define test cases, metrics, and resolution guidelinesWork in a team environment.
Possess sophisticated attention to detail and solid organizational and prioritization skills while working quickly and accurately under pressure.

Job Description
Reports to: Vice President, Analytics and Strategy
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in SPSS
Job Purpose:
Our goal is to help our clients implement strategies that lead to improved business actions and results. Our analysts are client facing and provide support internally and externally in the design and execution of custom analysis projects.
Specific Responsibilities:
Conduct custom research studies in their entirety, from project inception and design through preparation and the delivery of reports and presentations.
Provide input to and assist in the development of client proposals.
Mine consumer level databases and other data sources for insights and analyze data sets using SPSS.
Distill insights from the analysis to offer business recommendations by identifying meaningful consumer indicators and trends.
Ensure work is disciplined and adheres to quality control procedures.
Support the development and launch of new products and services.
Present analysis and recommendations to our clients.
Build relationships with key internal and external clients.
Identify opportunities for insight innovation or efficiency improvements.
Requirements
Experience and Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree with specialization in Math/Statistics is a must.
Expert Knowledge of analytical techniques. Specifically working knowledge of concepts such as, CHAID, clustering, segmentation and time-series (i.e. regression, forecasting).
Ability to query large data sets using database management software (SQL) and database mining software (SPSS) with 3-5 years of experience in any or all of the following: SPSS Statistics, SPSS Decision Manager, SPSS Modeler, SPSS Data Collector, and SPSS Deployment. Additional experience in SAS is preferred.
Skilled at navigating relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server.
Comfortable working in LINUX operating environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
Past experience of leading analytical projects/ teams is preferred.

Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
Gather and submit detailed business information and prospect/clients challenges to pre-sales technical support to collaborate and build effective presentation and RFP response.
Conduct formal presentations from the non-technical aspect to prospective clients and existing clients.
Update and maintain Kalvins CRM (Customer Relation Manager) Database with accurate records of all calls, meetings, presentations, follow-up activities.
Manage, grow and evaluate client needs to ensure continued client satisfaction.
Build long term relationships based on delivering value.
Uncover business needs and position solutions.
